Description
“The BC-TMH credential itself not only demonstrates a commitment to providing excellence, but the training process has helped us shape our program to ensure we are maintaining great service within legal and ethical standards of care.”
Telemental health is a rapidly growing field spanning multiple mental health disciplines. Today’s mental health professionals seek the best practices and credibility to offer safe and effective services to their clients. In many states there are currently no extra certifications licensed mental health professionals need to conduct sessions with patients virtually. They must simply fulfill certain obligations when they initiate a telehealth relationship. Even in the absence of a special certification requirement, employers will be looking for counselors who have telehealth training. That training demonstrates specialized skills needed to connect with patients virtually and deliver high-quality care in this format.
The Board Certified–TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) credential is designed to meet this need. Developed by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) in conjunction with thought leaders in the field of telemental health, the BC-TMH gives mental health providers the training, knowledge, and credibility that clients and employers demand. There is no better NBCC certified training program to prepare you for the BC-TMH certification exam.
