What jumps out at me was that some one in the billing department took a vacation in August and September. The charges were reasonably high during those months but the collections in the following 2 months were way too low. And they showed back up on October and wrote it all off!

One of the worst meetings I ever ran was when we were trying to rework our mission statement. Nobody could agree on anything, and whenever we were close, someone would come up with another idea.
