Randi, lastly I wanted to add that I understand the difficulty in getting others to buy into the benefits of what you are doing.  Even in our very small group, I have extreme difficulty trying to get others to work evening.  In fact I have given up on that.  I am wondering perhaps if you offer weeknight hours( late), maybe the strategy that wo…[Read more]

Interesting project Randi, Saturday hours are becoming more important for the various reasons you outlined.  However, in a group as large as yours, not everyone will agree that keeping Saturday is important.  In our small group, total 5 providers including midlevels, 2 of the providers do not want to do weekend or any evenings as it is a quality o…[Read more]

  • I agree with the comments, first the charges are way too high and skew the n7mbers, IMO it does not even help with cash patients as most physicians would discount cash patients to their best contractual rate, we understand that is not really fair to charge a cash patient 4 times what we would get from a ins co.  I agree with Joseph, AR doesn’t ma…[Read more]

A…[Read more]

My main concern with the report is that it does not have cummalative collection rate for the whole year, or quarter etc.  so unclear if money is being left on table.

Basically collections/allowed amount.  A yearly number would be nice as it would average out any variation in month to month delays.
