[Mary Iacocca]

I am Mary Iacocca, one of 9 pathologists at ChristianaCare. I have been with the Department of Pathology for 20 years, and one year ago, right as the pandemic started, I became the Interim Chair. Six months ago I became the permanent Chair.  My private practice group, Delaware Clinical and Laboratory Physicians became integrated with ChristianaCare in January of 2021. Between the pandemic, the loss of 3 pathologists, undergoing a virtual lab inspection, and transitioning to an employed model, it has been a very busy first 12 months as Chair of the Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine.
