    It is important for physicians to know their business! Not only is it their income but they can be held accountable for billing practices. At my level this is not yet an issue but in the modern billing environment the combined efforts of a professional along with physician supervision is likely the best overall plan.

    Proper planning prevents poor performance. The COO failed to schedule correctly, then when it was oblivious that he had neglected to change it on the spot. When mistakes happen a good leader should have the ability to adapt, improvise and overcome.
