Very interesting reading all the above posts. Being military, I don’t even know where to start on our financial statements since they are tied in heavily to so many other departments. As medical director of my clinic, it’s a struggle since I’m not privy to any of this information!

I don’t even know how to begin to apply this to my clinic as an active duty military physician In primary care. Seems the primary focus is see more, prevent leakage. I don’t know at which level a financial analysis is being done

I love suggestion #17 for issues that are brought up off topic or not on the original agenda. I’m a big fan of taking the issue “off line” and leaving it as an open item for the next meeting. I think it allows me to investigate the issue and prevent knee jerk reactions/decisions.
