This course will take you step by step through the process of running a data driven clinical process improvement (CPI) project both standard and rapid cycle.  Improving one’s workplace seems simple and complex all at the same time. Processes that need to be improved are countless and the solutions may seem easy, yet nothing ever seems to get better. When processes do not work to their maximum efficiency, patients suffer, which is why we may have less than optimal outcomes across the healthcare spectrum. The science behind practice improvement is complicated. The skills behind creating and leading an improvement project are not.   This course will familiarize you with the tools essential to the process. The course also presents examples of actual CPI projects done in real hospitals that affected the lives of real patients.

” Knowing the steps now in a concrete step by step manner will make it easier to implement better problem solving in my office. There are a lot of problems that have already been solved but I think we suffer from a lot of not holding on to gains. I may need some help getting my manager to buy into enforcing the process.
