Welcome to the first lesson  .

The course is designed to be completed in a step wise fashion.  You will encounter the following activities:

• Complete the pretest to ascertain your current knowledge.
• Two video presentations between 20 – 30 minutes in length that with a searchable table of contents.  Note that there are controls on the embedded video on the taskbar.  Volume may also be controlled through the video itself as well as through your device.
• Discussion forum – the forum is a place where you will respond to a question from the instructors and carry on in a discussion with fellow classmates.  Create at least one topic and feel free to comment on other’s threads.  The faculty will monitor and add to the discussion.
• Complete the posttest to assess learning and as a CME requirement.  A score of 70% is needed to earn CME credit.  The quiz may be retaken multiple times until the desired score is achieved.
• Complete the course survey to fulfil CME requirements.
• Complete the CME  attestation question.
• Click the Print Certificate button to download your certificate.
