Over $100 Billion is spent on wound healing therapy in the U.S. every year. The overwhelming majority is directed at diabetic patients as a result of compromised circulation to the lower extremities and neuropathies associated with the disease. Although standard therapy has not changed in decades, the recent impact of HCT/Ps can not be denied. Of all the applications of these products in healthcare, there are none with more peer reviewed published support. The regenerative properties of placenta derived products place them in a unique position to alleviate the suffering of the millions of patients afflicted with these painful, unsightly and dangerous wounds.
